Patrick Braoudé is an actor and filmmaker. He is the author of many directorial films, such as Great my parents divorced (1990), Neuf Mois (1993), Love and Confusions (1996), Second Life (1999), Iznogoud (2005).
He has been doing photography since his teenage years, but has decided to exhibit his photos since 2013 at the Villerville Festival.
He presents us photos with a strong pictorial aspect, without retouching, which amuse themselves to give the illusion of paintings, on a mode “impressionist” while preserving the instantaneous of the photograph … effects obtained with the taking without computer work …
“Digital Impressionism” Claude Lelouch said with friendship during the exhibition Deauville … with a touch of timelessness. Simple photographs of everyday happiness.
As a filmmaker who likes to watch his contemporaries, I like to take the time to observe the beach: groups of friends meeting for a moment of friendship, families in search of relaxation, couples of lovers come to isolate themselves, solitary in reflection…
My photos are snapshots of these “spy” lives. Characters often back, sometimes masked, or against the light … fuzzy beings, shadows, “ghosts”, sometimes even just color tasks …

Some pictures are like the storyboard of a movie.
